Surviving the Climate Theater Show

Well, I survived playing the Climate Theater show last Wednesday night. Even though I was feeling really sick when I did it. It was a lot of fun and the place was filled with energetic people of all types. One of the more entertaining shows I've done in a while.

Back from Atlanta

I just got back from Atlanta and man, it's good to be home.

Not to say that I didn't enjoy Atlanta, I actually thought that it was a beautiful city and the humidity didn't really bother me much. I loved that I was able to run about half naked at 3AM.

We were staying in Midtown, near 12th and Peidmount, in some vacation rental townhouse.

Getting to Atlanta was quite the MISERABLE experience. We spent the whole day in the airport with a layover in Dallas "BUSH" airport. At first I was wondering why someone would name an airport after suck a prick, but after being at that airport for 5 min. the name seemed fitting. What a crap-house that place is.

So we finally arrived in Atlanta and discovered that our bags had been misplaced. Gehno, our casting director, was ENRAGED and I was afraid he was going to beat up the poor baggage customer service agent. So we gave our descriptions of our bags and 'the contents' of which were in them. I had to bite my tongue to not tell him that in mine was a 9" dildo. And, after all that we hopped into a taxi and headed to our townhouse .

The place was HUGE. Three stories, one bedroom on the second floor and one on the third. There was a hot tub in the back yard, although it had no water in it. Not like anyone would actually use a hot tub in Atlanta. Does it ever get cold enough for that there?

After getting settled into our new digs, Gehno, Sam (our camera man / editor), and myself headed out to the Atlanta Eagle. We walked to the bar, even though it was a little over a mile away. That might not be a far walk for some, but for a lazy guy like myself, it was extremely far. I was very excited to find that we were able to smoke in the bar. Ah, how nice it is to be able to do that again. We hung out for a bit there, meeting the bartender, Mike, who was very nice and generous with his shot pouring abilities, and shooting some pool.

The next day I got up, headed to Starbucks and started thinking about what I was going to do with my day. We had no shoots scheduled, which meant I had nothing to do. So, I set out on an adventure to try and find an electronics store, or just any store where I could buy a digital still camera for myself. It's been a while since I've owned one so I figured it would be a good excuse to get out of the house. I finally found a Target store after walking 10 million miles and getting told 5 times the wrong directions. After that, I was wiped and headed back to the house to lie about, taking pictures on my way. .

The rest of my trip was mostly all about shooting porn and hanging out around the house.

I did go out to the Eagle on the second night. They had go-go dancers dancing on the bar and it was much more busy than the Thursday night we had been there before.

Saturday, I just stayed in and watched television.

Sunday I went out to some bar called Burnhardts which was a really cool bar as well. There were a bunch of really brilliant drag queens there which was pretty entertaining. I did, however, get WAY too drunk, but that was fine since all I had to do on Monday was spend another full day at the airport and that is usually better when you are hung over.

Now I'm back at my home in San Francisco, hanging out with my doggie Mabel and my man Jesse. . .
